Over 10 years ago I was faced with the tough decision of becoming a caregiver for my grandmother or placing her in a facility. I made a promise to her that I would do everything in my power to keep her out of a nursing home. It was not always easy, but knowing she was comfortable, and happy in her own home made every hard day worth it. While caring for her this ignited my passion for wanting to pursue a career in home care. Since my grandmother’s passing, I’ve worked for several agencies as a HHA. Opening my own home care agency was always my goal. I want families to have the peace of mind that their loved ones are receiving the best care possible, because I have been on the other side.
